Seed-funded by the City of Bethlehem through Commonwealth support in 2011, BEDCO’s incubator and technology center, Pi, occupies the second floor of a 1911 silk blouse factory centrally located within South Bethlehem’s Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ). The building also houses Cantelmi’s Hardware and The Yoga Loft.
Originally focused on product-based startups, Pi now also supports emerging ventures in life sciences, technology, and advanced manufacturing. The incubator offers shared facilities, including conference and meeting rooms, along with eight (8) private office suites ranging from 115 to 1,900 square feet. Its proximity to Lehigh University, Northampton Community College, and Moravian University creates additional opportunities for collaboration.
